Background – Get to Know Concierge Family Medical Physician Dr. Alla Weisz
Dr. Alla Weisz was born into a family of physicians in the former Soviet Union. Growing up, she benefited from this medical legacy as she observed her two paternal grandparents and her father providing comprehensive care for their patients. Dr. Weisz earned her medical degree from Odessa National Medical University in Ukraine in 1988. She immigrated to the US in late 1993 and settled in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a Foreign Medical Graduate, Dr. Weisz successfully fulfilled the requirements needed to obtain her medical license in the United States. She completed her residency training in Family Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine. She also completed a year of Preliminary Surgery Residency.

In 2008, Dr. Weisz fulfilled her dream of living in sunny South Florida when she and her family moved to West Palm Beach. She immediately went to work as a staff physician at MD Now Urgent Care Centers, where she continued for ten years before opening her own practice in 2019. Concurrently, Dr. Weisz served and volunteered at the Community Health Center of West Palm Beach and at the Palm Beach County Health Care District Clinic. She also worked for several years as the Medical Director at the Discovery Village Assisted Living Facility in Palm Beach Gardens. Since 2009, Dr. Weisz has worked as a research physician and consultant at the Center for Marital and Sexual Health of South Florida where she medically evaluated patients for inclusion in clinical trials.
In addition to her medical degree, in 2018, Dr. Weisz earned her Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Keiser University in West Palm Beach. Dr. Weisz is considered a health care innovator throughout Palm Beach County.

Dr. Weisz is an endowed member of the Lion of Judah Society of the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach. Dr. Weisz supports several area synagogues. She and her family are actively involved with AIPAC on the club level and have attended many annual Policy Conferences in Washington D.C. Dr. Weisz’s passion is baking as many challahs as possible and often takes freshly baked ones to her son’s football games. She taught challah baking classes—dubbed “Challah by Alla”—at local synagogues. Dr. Weisz is a member of the Beth El Women’s League and Palm Beach Synagogue Women’s Group.
Dr. Weisz is married to Peter Weisz and is the mother of Max, Martin and Andrew. Max has earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and later his MBA and MSPPM from Carnegie Mellon. Max lives in Minneapolis and works for the Cargill Corporation. Martin graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in economics and works for Diameter Capital Partners LP in West Palm Beach, Florida. Andrew is a junior at Yale University studying political science. Andrew is also an offensive lineman on the Yale University Football team. Dr. Weisz is a major fan of both Yale and UVA football. • Breathe in those respiratory droplets
• Touch something with droplets on it and then touch their mouth or nose
• Drink from the same glass or eat from the same plate as a sick person
• Touch sores on the skin caused by group A strep (impetigo)
Sometimes, people can spread group A strep through food that is not handled properly. Pets or household items, like toys, do not typically spread these bacteria.
The Margaret W. Niedland Breast Center has recently installed new equipment that greatly enhances its ability to detect and treat breast cancer. Known as the "New Clarity HD High-Resolution 3-D" platform, it is now being used as part of their "Hologic Genius 3-D™" Mammography exam. It provides the industry's fastest image processing and delivers the highest resolution images commercially available.
At Weisz Concierge Medical, patients can have their blood drawn during a medical visit. Our medical assistant has years of experience working with blood draws. If a patient does not have health insurance, we offer very discounted prices for lab testing.
Recently with the global pandemic, many patients in Jupiter, Tequesta, Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens are seeking a more private interaction with Dr. Weisz. On a case by case basis, Dr. Weisz will evaluate the need for a home visit should it be necessary.
